Afternoon Nap

Today I took an afternoon nap.

I went into a dream. I saw myself, I was sitting on my customary chair in my room facing the TV and window.

Suddenly a man appeared. He seemed to have walked in through the window. He sat down.

This startled me a bit. What are you doing here, I asked. He didn't say anything.

No one comes into my room without my permission. And here is this stranger. This just doesn't happen. This was the queue that alerted me that I was in the astral. Once I knew I was in the astral I decided to do what I always do when I'm in the astral world, I decided to go out and explore it.

I stood up and walked towards the window from which the man had presumably entered. He stood up. I said excuse me to him and he stepped aside. Thank you I said, and I walked out through the opening.

Outside I found myself in a place that I recognized as a water treatment plant. I was outside. The sky was blue and the day was sunny and pleasant. The place I walked out to looked like a water treatment plant I previously worked at, but it was different. I saw people walking around as if they were walking around in a public park. I saw a woman walk by pushing a stroller.

I stood there for a moment just taking in the scene. I was deciding where to go. Should I turn right, left, or go straight ahead. I decided to turn left. I walked along a paved path. I could see water channels and water holding ponds. I looked at the water in the channel to my left. It was crystal clear, I could see the bottom of the channel clearly.

I eventually reached the end of the paved path I was on. I couldn't continue without climbing over barriers. I tried to climb over some of them but one of the barriers began to break apart when I grabbed it to hold onto. I let go and realized I couldn't continue.

There was a water holding pond there at the end of the path. The water in the pond was green. It looked as if it had algae in it. A man was there. He was doing some type of work.

At this moment I woke up and found myself back in my room.

The Killer Caterpillar

Had a dream a couple of nights ago.

I was on a tree top and nearby was a giant caterpillar. It had an exoskeleton like a centipede but was a colorful caterpillar.

I believed it wanted to hurt me so I kicked it in the head. I then kicked it in the head several more times. From somewhere I got the suggestion to "really" kick it. So I did, in the dream and in real life.

I woke myself up. I had kicked the wall next to my bed really hard. Damn! My big toe hurt really bad. I kicked the wall so hard I had to wait a while for the pain to go away before I could fall back asleep again.

In the morning I had a small bruise on my toe and a small dent on the wall.

Moonless Night

This year my birthday falls on a moonless night. Awesome. It will be a new beginning for me. Literally. A new moon and a new life.

Always Running Your Mouth

Just sitting here watching the news early on Sunday morning.

Trump is on the news for running his mouth and calling someone an animal, or saying that he should die like an animal, or something to that effect.

The newswoman introduces former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown and asks him what his thoughts are regarding Trump's statement.

WTF! She's asking Willie Brown what his thoughts are on Trump running his mouth? Willie Brown got himself into binds for running his mouth when he was mayor. A local paper even ran a comic strip of him. His Williness was always in trouble for running his mouth.

And this woman is asking for Willie Brown's input regarding dumb Trump running his mouth?! His Williness is the last person to ask regarding someone running their mouth.

 

Wow, she gave me a laugh early on a Sunday morning!

The Village Idiot

On my way to work I was listening to the radio. A guy was talking. What he said struck me as funny and interesting.

A dorky guy lived in a certain town. He was the town's dummy. Often times the townsfolk would play a game with him. They would present him with two coins and allow him to keep the one he wanted.

The smaller coin was worth twice as much as the bigger coin. The dummy would always pick the bigger coin. The townsfolk laughed, getting their laughs off of seeing the town's dummy pick the bigger coin even though it was worth half as much as the smaller coin.

One day a man asked the dummy why he would pick the bigger coin if the smaller one was worth more. The dummy said that if he ever picked the smaller coin the game would be over and the townsfolk would not let him pick and keep any coin again.

Yeah it looks like the dummy is the one playing the townsfolk for suckers. He plays the dummy and gets to pick and keep his coin daily.

Blue Moon

Early this coming year we will have two blue moons, one in January and one in March.

The Blue Moon is the second full moon in the calendar month.

February will not have a full moon. We will see the dark side of the moon in the middle of February.
