You Don't Have a Leg to Stand On

I have been reading articles relating to Biden's possible running mate.

At first it was Kamala Harris. I'm very familiar with her. She hails straight outta Frisco.

And more recently it's been Tammy Duckworth. An Iraq veteran who lost both of her legs.

I also read an article that said that she had been asked if she was in favor of erasing Washington's image because he owned slaves.

Her answer was "Yes."

What the duck!!!!!!!

Does she consider herself better than Washington? Seriously, does she? Otherwise, why would she see herself fit enough to decide if Washington's image should be erased?

Goddamn it! Washington was a general during the war against Great Britain. It was he who led the Continental army against one of the most powerful nations of his time, Great Britain. And he WON! He succeeded! And because of that win this great country was established! The United States of America! I'm a citizen of it! It was George Washington's bravery and his army who defeated one of the world's greatest powers, Great Britain.

Duckworth, do you really consider yourself greater than him? Well do you? If not, why would you be in favor of erasing his image?

Did you not lose your legs fighting for this country? The same country that was born when George Washington won.

He's the father of this country. The country you supposedly fought for. The country you presumably became a citizen of.

Why would you be in favor of erasing his image?

You don't have a leg to stand on!

Get Away From Me

Over the weekend I had a dream. I was in some place that looked like an auditorium. I saw rows of seats rising from the base upwards.

Some of us had fine leather jackets.

I had one. I draped it over the hand rail at the base. I heard a woman say "Everyone, pick up your leather jackets and put them away." So I walked over to where my jacket was and retrieved it.

Near my jacket was a woman. She looked very much like Laura Coates, the author of the article "Why isn't Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill Yet?"

https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/28/opinions/why-isnt-harriet-tubman-on-20-bill-yet-coates/index.html

I walked over and retrieved my jacket. As I did I heard her say "Get away from me."

Whaaaaat! Does this clown think I give a fart about her? "You piece of shit," I thought to myself.

I woke up immediately afterwards. I recollected my dream very well and was disgusted at the thought that she would even say "get away from me" to me.

Bitch, you don't need to tell me to get away from you, I run from you like the devil flees holy water. All you'd have to do is smile at me and I'd look away. YOU ARE NOT MY TYPE! I only came near you to retrieve my leather jacket.

So, do you understand why I was so disgusted when that woman said "get away from me" in that weekend dream?

Modern Day Book Burners

Modern day book burners. That's what I think of those rioters destroying public images and artifacts.

Book burners, the world has never rid itself of them. They come in all shapes and forms, beliefs and ideologies. Book burners are fanatics who will burn the books that contain beliefs, ideologies, philosophies, etc. contrary to the book burners'. History that they don't like is included too. If they do not like some aspect of history they seek to erase it. And that's exactly what these modern day book burners are doing today. They are trying to erase a side, an aspect, of history which they do not like.

Those statues, whether liked or disliked are historical and should be preserved. This includes the confederate flag. That flag should also be preserved for historical purposes. Let it stand where it stands you goddamn modern day book burners!

LET ALL OF OUR HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS STAND WHERE THEY STAND YOU GODDAMN BOOK BURNER!

You're not doing society a favor by destroying historical artifacts. You're destroying our history you piece of shit. If you get destroyed it will be perfectly legit.

To Hell with Harriet Tubman

A couple of weeks ago me and my brother-in-law were at the dinner table talking about current issues. We discussed the recent desecration of historical images and artifacts. We talked about mobs of rioters toppling over and destroying statues of Christopher Columbus, Junipero Serra and others. About how the confederate flag is being villainized for its history.

"While all this is going on the native Americans are hardly even mentioned," I said to him.

Despite that the native Americans were the first inhabitants of these lands, they are being tossed to the curb by the media while it props up the African Americans into the national and even the world lime-light.

"Did you know there were talks about removing the image of Andrew Jackson from the twenty dollar bill and replacing it with an image of Harriet Tubman?" I asked him.

I don't believe he knew about it, so I talked to him about it.

Andrew Jackson was an Indian hater. He was around during the time when the United States was having its Indian wars. Indians and white colonizers had being fighting for quite some time. And during one of those incidents some Indians killed  members of Jackson's family. This imbued Jackson with hate and desire for revenge against Indians. During his presidency he was responsible for the slaughter of many Indians.

So when any discussion is taking place about replacing Andrew Jackson's image, the native American makes a much better replacement than Harriet Tubman. Andrew Jackson was known as Indian Killer, not African Killer. So if his image is to be replace on the twenty dollar bill it should be replaced by a native American not an African American.

Last week I found this article online: https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/28/opinions/why-isnt-harriet-tubman-on-20-bill-yet-coates/index.html

I felt it was apropos to make this post in reply to that article.

So, Why isn't Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill Yet? BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T BELONG THERE, THAT'S WHY!
