Afternoon Nap

Yesterday I took a nap in the afternoon.

I had another one of those astral experiences of mine.

I was at home. My mom and my nieces were there. I walked along the hallway and noticed the vibrant colors. Wow, I thought to myself. These colors really stand out. Some things were a bright red color and others were a bright blue color. Interesting I thought to myself. So this is what our house would look like painted with these colors I thought to myself.

That's when I realized I was in the astral again. As always happens when I find myself in the Astral Plane, I decided to go out for a walk. I like to explore the astral. The sights are usually very colorful and full of vividness.

I decided to walk outside. As I walked across the living room I walked around my young niece who was crawling. I opened the door and closed it gently behind me. I stepped out to the porch. I looked up the street to the park that is across the street from our house.

It was dark. Everything was misty. As if there was a blanket of fog in the air. It was dark but there was enough light so that I could make out the trees in the park and cars parked along side the street. To test and know if I was really in the astral I jumped, and indeed I floated. I jumped again much harder and this time I floated off the porch and out over the street. Then I began to descend slowly.

Before I jumped off the porch I looked to my right and saw a group of several people. It appeared as if something was going on. There were about thirty people. They walked across the street and some gathered at a fence across the street. I could see the people very vividly but everything else looked dark and misty. That group of people were all white.

One guy was sitting across the street. He was not part of the group. He was a black guy. I saw him watch me when I jumped and floated over the street.

When I came back down I found myself in the middle of the street. From there I walked across the street and turned back to look at my house. I then turned left to where the group of people had gathered and as if the lights had suddenly been turned on they reappeared very vividly.

After a while I began to stir and I found myself back in my bed, I was back in my room.

San Patricios

Some people may be wondering why I put so much effort into celebrating St. Patrick's Day. Specially since I'm Mexican.

Well, it's because of a little told story about the San Patricios.

Well, you see, way back then. Way back when the south-west was still northern Mexico, when the Great Harlot from the north (the United States) invaded the southern territories (Mexico) a war ensued.

A battalion of Irish men enlisted into the Gringo military and straight away they were sent to fight the Mexicans in the south.

But once they arrived in the south  they discovered that the true harlot was up north (the United States).

They saw the injustice that was being inflicted upon the Mexican people and they severed their ties with the Great Harlot from the north (the United States) and took up sides with the Mexican people.

Many of these heroes lost their lives. Some were hanged by the Great Harlot from the north and many died in battle. Some survived and their descendants still live in Mexico.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Today I prepared corned beef with cabbage. I served it with potatoes and carrots.

It was a dinner prepared for those close relatives who regularly come to our house.

For it being my first I have to say it was very delicious!!

All of my guests loved it!
