Finally! It me longer than I expected to have another lucid dream. I guess it's because I simply haven't been practicing my exercises as consistently as I should. But after many attempts I finally succeeded.
I went to bed and fell asleep. I went into a dream. I was somewhere waiting for one of my brothers. We were supposed to go somewhere. I don't recall exactly where I was but I keep getting glimpses, or flashes, of scenes. Here are some of those glimpses:
1. I'm at a corner. I'm at the upper end of a street that is on a hill. The corner reminds me of the corner of Bancroft Way and Bowditch Street in Berkeley. Many years ago there used to be a cafe there. I went to that cafe many times. The cafe is not there anymore. The building itself is not there anymore. An entirely different building is there now. In the dream I feel as if this is the corner I'm standing at. But the cafe is not there. Instead there is a small booth at the sidewalk. It's like those small booths where security personnel are stationed.
2. I'm walking down that same street, Bancroft Way, at the next street I turn left. This street would be Telegraph Avenue. Nothing there looks like the Telegraph Avenue I'm know. To my right there are buildings. To my left I see woods, as if I'm in a forest. Since I'm in Berkeley I want to get something to eat. I want to go somewhere where I can get some food that I can't get anywhere else. There's a Top Dog there. There's a burger place there also. I'm thinking of getting both a hotdog and a hamburger.
3. I'm at home. I know it's my house but it looks very different from my house. There are two guys there. They are flipping a quarter to decide who does something. I don't know what it is that one of them has to do but they are flipping a quarter to decide who does it. The guy on the left flips the quarter, it bounces off the table and goes directly into a bottle. Now they have to flip the quarter again.
In the dream the guy on the right rents a room from me. There is something I want him to do. I tell him about it and he refuses. Great! Now I have a reason to evict him.
I'm not certain why I would even have a roommate in the dream. I live alone and I do not want any roommates. So when the guy refuses to follow my instructions I see this as the perfect opportunity to evict him and tell him to leave.
4. I'm still at home. I realize there is a water leak. It's coming from upstairs.I proceed to go upstairs to find the source of the water leak. I walk up some stairs to the second floor but I don't see any source of a leak. I walk upstairs to the third floor and I still do not see any source of a leak. I walk up to the fourth floor. Here all the rooms are very small. As if they were made for pets. As I look around I think to myself that this floor was probably made for the owners' pets; cats, dogs, etc.
I also realize that the house is much larger than it appears to be from the outside. I think of how much smaller it looks from the outside and how much living space it actually has in the inside. It's a four story house. In real life my house is a single story house. It does look small from the outside, but it's very ample on the inside.
5. I realize I reached the top floor and have not found the source of the water leak. But I continue to walk around and eventually I find a room that is completely flooded with water. This is the source of the water leaking all the way downstairs. I just need to find out how the water is getting into that room.
Up to this point everything has been just a dream. I'm merely recollecting bits and pieces (fragments) of the dream. As I stand there on the top floor I finally wake up. I don't wake up in the physical body, I wake up in the astral body. I become aware (conscious) that I'm in a dream (the astral world).
From this point on I'm awake and having an astral travel experience.
I decide to leave the house. I begin to walk back in the direction I came from. As I'm walking through the house, retracing my steps I see that all the walls a colorfully painted. Not all the walls are the same color. The wall in front may be a light blue, the wall on the left may be yellow, and the wall on the right may be still another color. All the interior walls appear to be made of concrete or stucco; just like some exterior walls are constructed.
I continue to walk downstairs and through the house until I reach the front door. I walk outside. As I step outside I realize that the steps leading down to the sidewalk are very large. They are not like the steps or stairs in residential homes. They look like the steps in front of large office buildings.
When I walk out of my house I feel as if I walked out of the building in the picture above and am standing at the top those steps.
In front of me to my right I see a parked car. Two elderly women leave the car and are walking up the steps.
Straight ahead and slightly to my left I see the rooftops of many houses. I'm seeing the rooftops as if I were on higher ground and the houses I'm looking at are on lower ground.
At his point I return to my physical body. I wake up and find myself in my bed. I lay there and try to recollect as much of my experience as possible and am happy that I succeeded, finally.
