Invisible

Yesterday I went to bed very early. I was having a dream in which I was at home. I walked from the dining room to the living room and secured the front door. I was walking back to the dining room and it was here that I became aware that I was in the astral again. This is a dream I thought to myself. So if this is a dream then I'm in the astral and I should float if I jump. So I jumped and indeed I floated. When I came back to the floor I immediately began to vocalized the mantra for protection:

"Klim Krishnaya Govindaya Gopijana Vallabhaya Swaha,
Klim Krishnaya Govindaya Gopijana Vallabhaya Swaha..."

I intended to repeat it nine times but I lost count. But I said it several times.

By now the place I was in did not look like my home at all. The walls were all different, the furniture was all different, the layout was all different. I turned towards what would be the rear of my home and climbed over an opening on the wall. It looked like a breakfast bar in the wall. On the other side I saw an opening towards the left. I stepped out of the house through that opening.

Outside I found myself in a strange city. There was a wide street just outside. I could clearly make out other houses on the other side of the street. As I usually do when I'm in the astral plane I decided to go exploring. I stepped out onto the street, turned left and began to walk down the street. I saw a group of about three black guys walking up the street. I began to worry. I realized that I was in a predominantly black section of the town. I was the only non-black there. I thought that the guys were menacing so I attempted to avoid them. I tried to stay out of their radar. Strangely, it was as if they couldn't see me. As if I was invisible to them. Although I was in plain site they seemed to not acknowledge that I was there.

I turned back and began to walk up the street. To my right I saw a roll of houses. I couldn't recognize the house from which I walked out. But this didn't concern me much. I could hear some loud voices. I could tell that there were some black guys being loud and boisterous.

I continued up the street. To my immediate right I saw a trench. Some work was being done. The trench was about waist deep and about two and a half feet wide. On the other side of the trench I saw a guy standing there. I came close and wondered if I was really invisible to these strange denizens of this strange city. I came close but he seemed to not even acknowledge my presence. I picked up a couple of egg sized rocks from the ground near the trench. I threw one rock against another rock near the guy's feet. I wanted to see if he acknowledged the rocks. To my surprise he did. He stared down at the ground with a look of bewilderment in his face. Interesting I thought to myself. He saw the rock I threw but he doesn't see me. I threw a second rock near his feet. Again he looked down with the same look of bewilderment on his face. I was now convinced that the denizens of this strange city couldn't see me. It was as if I was invisible to them.

I walked away and continued up the street. In the far distance, slightly to the left, I could see the outline of skyscrapers. It was the city's downtown. The city's downtown and skyscrapers looked very similar to those of any other physical city, except that the skyscrapers were located on the hills. This strange city had a lower side and the hills. Residential homes were on the lower side. Downtown and the skyscrapers were on the hills. The reverse of how cities in our physical world are laid out.

At this moment my consciousness shifted suddenly from the astral back to the physical and I found myself laying in bed.
